Continuing Education Requirements
for Licensed Occupations in Texas

This information was collected 2001-2002 as part of a Perkins-funded project, Texas Partners for Workforce Distance Learning, Project Director Pat Smith, Temple College. While some CEU requirements have undoubtedly changed, the information may still be helpful.

This list contains continuing education requirements for licensed occupations in Texas included in the publication Licensed Occupations and Apprenticeship Program Contacts in Texas, Ninth Edition, August 2001 published by Texas Workforce Commission Career Development Resources.  The list is not a comprehensive listing of every occupation in Texas, but only the known occupations that require continuing education credits as one of the criteria for renewal.  This information is current as of 2/11/2002.
